Isner Breaks Into Top 50!

Update, 9/6/09 - looks like we were looking into the future on this one. At the time of this writing John's ranking had actually risen only to #55, but last night, with his epic win over Andy Roddick, John has broken into the top 50 for real. Look out above (or below, depending on how you think about it !

John Isner Rises to #44 World Ranking!

With his run to the semifinals at the Legg Mason Classic in Washington D.C. (an ATP World Tour 250 series event) John secures his highest ranking ever, coming in at #44 in the world. Congrats John! For all those answering our How Far Will Isner Go poll (see the right sidebar), everyone that said Top 50 or higher can give themselves a pat on the back Now we should probably revise the poll. Top 25 is next! Go John!!
