What is this website and how was it started? JohnIsner.com is currently being run by a group of Isner fans that have been following John's progress since his streak of success leading up to the NCAA Championship title playing for the Georgia Bulldogs.
Shortly after graduating (a rare thing in professional tennis these days), John (also known as "Loyd" (from Dumb & Dumber) or "Grampa") entered the professional circuit with a world ranking of 839. Since then he has won several minor league events, earning him a wildcard in an ATP event in Washington, where he proceeded to rocket past top 100 opponents all the way to the final where he fell to Andy Roddick.
This streak of success raised his ranking to 144 in the world, a rating that was bolstered by his US Open success, which took him all the way into the third round, where he fell to Roger Federer.
Since then, he has pushed his way into the top 100 and beyond. Checkout the homepage for the latest on his achievements, and his ATP player profile below for more stats and match details.
Check out John's latest ranking and stats on his ATP Tennis Player Profile page.

John Isner for davis cup
We need to replace Andy Roddick with John Isner if we are to win the davis cup tie against Spain. John seem to be playing great on Clay and he could pull off an upset against Nadal or ferrer.
