John Breaks Top 35 at the Heineken Open

Our main man John Isner wins the Heineken Open and breaks into the top 35 (at #33) in the world at the same time. He took out frenchmen Arnaud Clement in a tight three set final, ending in a breaker at 6-3, 5-7, 7-6 (2). At one point he trashed a racket, but funnily enough - it was because he missed his bag. Stick to serving balls, not rackets John Eye-wink

John served up an impressive performance, with 22 aces and only 2 double faults, to send Clement reeling back into the locker room.  His move to #33 in the world will give him a seeded spot in the Australian Open next week, where he'll face the challenging Andreas Seppi in the first round.
